I was at Villa Rufolo, camera in hand, waiting for a client who was running late for a surprise proposal. Anyone who works in this field knows that feeling. You check the time, look around, start thinking about possible delays, hoping everything goes smoothly.

At some point a guy approaches me and asks if I can take a couple of photos of him and his girlfriend. Nothing unusual.

Until it was.

His name was Bryan, coming from Puerto Rico. After the proposal he looks at me, sees the camera, and asks how much for the photos.

I tell him not to worry about it. I had only captured the moment as it happened, nothing planned. He insists. Then asks if we can do a proper photoshoot right there in Ravello.

At that point, I give him a time. As soon as I finish with my original client, I come back to him.

What started as a simple request turned into a full engagement session.
